Biographical or historical data
Albert C. Gammon was born in Norway, Maine, in 1829. A farmer, he enlisted in Company F, 17th Maine Infantry, 18 August 1862, and was made a corporal. Gammon was killed while on picket duty at Petersburg, Virginia, 2 October 1864.
