Biographical or historical data
Alice V. D. Pierrepont was born in Selma, Alabama in 1866. She was the daughter of Benjamin J. and Susan Kidd Duncan. She married Henry Pell Pierrepont of New Haven, Connecticut on 26 October 1899 in New York City. He died in 1908. She then moved to Petersburg, Virginia and became owner of "Violet Bank." She was an artist, teacher, author, and genealogist. She died in Miami, Florida on 16 March 1960.
