These records consist of two files of receipts issued by the auditor. The first file contains receipts returned in the name of the register of the Land Office for fees received from him in 1836 and at various dates between 1867 and 1905. The second file contains receipts drawn to individuals showing that they had paid the necessary fees entitling them to treasury warrants for land. The period covered is 1793-1795; 1836; 1854; 1867-1897; 1899-1906
