Biographical or historical data
Bernard Lipscomb was born about 1755 in King William County, Virginia, to Anderson Lipscomb (ca. 1725-1781) and wife. Lipscomb was an officer in an artillery unit during the American Revolution. He was a planter after the war. He and his wife Mary Hill Lipscomb had six children. Bernard Lipscomb died in 1823.
