Biographical or historical data
Squire Bosworth (18 August 1792-1870), Joshua Bosworth (31 August 1799) , and Harriett Bosworth Phillips (b. 8 December 1793) were brothers and sister, born in Montgomery, Massachusetts. They and other members of their family moved to Virginia. Squire resided in Randolph County, West Virginia, Joshua in Barbour County, West Virginia, and Harriett in Upshur County, West Virginia. John Woodbridge Bosworth (1836-1936) was the son of Squire Bosworth and he graduated from the Virginia Military Institute in 1857.
