Clara Johnson was born 26 November 1868 in Brighton, Massachusetts. She married Frederick Manville (1866-1936) and they had two daughters. The Manvilles lived in Newport News, Virginia. Clara J. Manville was active in many societies like the Daughters of Cololonial Wars. Clara Manville died in Newport News on 18 February 1944. She was buried in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Newport News.
