Biographical or historical data
Jesse Dailey (1760-1845) served as a soldier in the Continental Army during the American Revolution. He married Mary Polly Turner (1765-1853) in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, in either 1791 or 1795. Frederick Keen Daily (1876-1951) married Martha Yingling Jennings (1876-1952) in 1900, and they had three children: Julian Alice Daily (Jennings) (1902-1955), Hampton Jennings Dailey (1905-1952), and Maurice Cecil Jennings (1910-1997). Hampton Dailey married Amelia Ruth Moretz (1905-2001) 19 October 1924, and they had three children. The family name is spelled either Dailey or Daily.
