Biographical or historical data
Felix Thebault Rivailles was born in France in April 1839 and emigrated to Louisiana. He served as an officer in the Confederate army during the Civil War. After the war, Rivailles taught French in New Orleans, Louisiana, then later worked as a physician in Blair County, Pennsylvania, and Baltimore, Maryland. Married in 1870 Rivailles and his wife had six children.
