Biographical or historical data
Griffin Taylor was born on 10 March 1766. He married Mary Kennon. Taylor died in 1818 at his home "Clifton" in Clarke County, Virginia. Mary Taylor died on 14 December 1852 at the age of 82 at "Soldier's Rest." They are both buried in the Grace Episcopal Church cemetery in Berryville.
