Biographical or historical data
Peter Ballard Buckner (d. 1823) and Alice Catlett (d. 1828) were residents of Caroline County, Virginia, who later moved to Clark County, Kentucky. Their daughter, Caroline Gibson Buckner was born on 15 March 1804. She married 1) John Cloud Hardin on 4 October 1821 and 2) Dillard Byars. She died in Shelby County, Kentucky on 3 August 1882. Her sister, Harriet Buckner, was born ca. 1808. She married Harrison Eubank. They were divorced on 3 February 1837. Harriet Buckner died in Shelby County on 11 May 1849.
