Biographical or historical data
Lawrence Augustine Washington was born ca. 1768. He was the son of Col. Samuel Washington and his fourth wife Anne Steptoe. He married Mary Dorcas Wood in Frederick County, Virginia on 6 November 1797. He died near Wheeling, (West) Virginia on 15 February 1824 at the age of 56.
