Biographical or historical data
Lettie Florence Landes was born 4 August 1883 to Joseph Daniel Landes and Mary Landes in Augusta County, Virginia. Lettie Landes married George Nicholas Croushorn (1856-1914) on 23 January 1907, and they had five children. After her husband's death, Croushorn operated a farm and a dairy. She was also active in the Democratic Party. Lettie Croushorn died on 21 August 1953 in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and was buried in the Salem Lutheran Church cemetery in Augusta County.
