Biographical or historical data
Nicholas Yager was born near Weicherbach, Germany, 28 May 1676 or 1678. He migrated to Virginia as part of the Germanna colony transported by Alexander Spotswood (1676-1740), then lieutenant governor of Virginia. Yager married first Anna Maria Siebert 11 May 1706, and they had two children. Yager married second Susanna Crigler after 1734, and they had no children. Yager died 6 April 1764.
