Biographical or historical data
Jehu Meador was born 21 May 1772 in Cumberland County, Virginia, to Jehu Meador (ca. 1738-1808) and Sarah Adkinson Meador. He was a farmer and merchant in Cumberland County. Meador married Drucilla Boatright (ca. 1776-1843), and they had at least two children, including David Boatright Meador (b. 7 February 1797). Jehu Meador died in Cumberland County 19 February 1820.
