Biographical or historical data
Elizabeth Shelton married Benjamin Halsall in Goochland County, Virginia in 1801. Their daughter, Mary C. Halsall (1802-1850), married Thomas Woodson (ca. 1801-1862). They resided in Charlottesville, Virginia, where he was a teacher. Following the death of Benjamin Halsall, Elizabeth (Shelton) Halsall married James Kelso in 1811, also in Goochland County. Their daughter, Martha A. E. Kelso (1820-1875) married Robert Pendleton (1813-1892) in 1847 in Orange County.
