Biographical or historical data
Mary Sydnor was born 5 May 1889 in Staunton, Virginia, to W. O. Sydnor and Mary Pettus Wilson Syndor. She graduated from Mary Baldwin Seminary in Staunton in 1907. Mary Sydnor married George Evans Carver of Charleston, West Virginia, in 1917, and they had four children. Mary Sydnor Carver died in Charleston in December 1975.
