Papers, 1798-1811, of Thomas Fisher (d. ca. 1809) of Baltimore, Maryland, consisting of accounts, bonds, correspondence, memorandums, and powers of attorney relating to Fisher's attempts to recover property and debts of the estate of his father Thomas Fisher (d. ca. 1778), a partner in the firm of Fisher and Cunningham. Papers also include accounts and correspondence of Charles Yates and Thomas Yates of Baltimore, Maryland, attempting to settle the estate of the younger Thomas Fisher. Papers include a bond, 22 April 1805, from William Forbes to John Tasker Carter, both of Westmoreland County, Virginia, relating to Forbes' purchase of property in Maryland known as the Baltimore Land Company Tract
