Biographical or historical data
The Hunt family lived in Prince Edward County, Virginia. George Hunt was a school trustee there. George (1837-1909) served with the 3rd Virginia Cavalry, Company K, was captured at Williamsport (Md.) on 5 July 1863 and held prisoner at Ft. Delaware (Del.) until 19 June 1865.
