Bracken of Gloucester County, Virginia; a deed for land in Gloucester County, Virginia between John Cooke and John Catlett, dated 1848; military appointments of W. Tazewell Patton, J.B. Cocke, and Giles B. Cooke; and Special Order No. 73, allowing for safe passage of Confederate soldiers, dated 10 April 1865. Also includes correspondence to Giles B. Giles B. Cooke (1838-1937) was one of General Lee's staff officers during the Civil War and subsquently became an Episcopal priest, serving in Petersburg, Virginia.
