Biographical or historical data
The Operations Division is responsible for critical infrastructure, management systems and communications in order to maintain the state's readiness for and capability to meet the demands of a major emergency or disaster. These operations involve coordiation with state government, private organizations, federal and local entities. In addition to operation direction and control, disaster activities also include resource prioritization, information gathering, situational and damage assessment, mission assignment and tracking, resource management, community outreach and public affairs.
