Protest for unpaid bill, 27 September 1762, presented by Samuel Worrall, notary public in Bristol, England, protesting the refusal to pay a bill due to Farrell and Jones, Bristol, England, by Hale and Maddern, merchants of Bristol, England. William Hale, deceased, and Robert Maddern, now in Virginia, incurred the bill on 1 May 1762 with George Thomas. Thomas endorsed it over to Farrell and Jones.
