Biographical or historical data
Richard Jordan Sizemore was born in Virgilina, Halifax County, Virginia on 20 June 1917. He graduated from The College of William and Mary in 1939, and was then employed as a bookkepper with Fry, Jordan and Wilson, a real estate and insurance firm in South Boston, Virginia. During World War II, Sizemore was a staff sergeant with the 2nd Army Air Force Base Unit in Washington, DC. He married Jeanne Bodie (1930-2008), and died in South Boston on 2 April 1998.
