Summary
Contains a letter from Joseph Martin and Archibald Stuart to Governor Robert Brooke as commissioners for ascertaining the boundary line between the states of Virginia and Kentucky. Martin and Stuart enclose the journal of their meeting in Lee County with John Coburn, Robert Johnson, and Buckner Thruston, the commissioners on the part of Kentucky, from 3 to 21 October 1796. Martin & Stuart also enclose numerous depositions taken by the commissioners in Lee and Russell counties
