Andrew Boyd Claytor was born November 1856 in Bedford County, Virginia, to William Graham Claytor and Mary Jordan Claytor. He served as Bedford Postmaster and was a salesman for R. J. Reynolds tobacco for twenty-five years. Claytor died 27 May 1943.
