Contains a resolution of the House of Delegates in favor of the petition of William Walton praying that the claim for services rendered by Jesse Walton may be liquidated. Jesse Walton acted as brigade quarter master to the Second Militia under General Lawson from 14 July 1781 to 1 November. Includes a certificate of the Prince Edward County Court that William Walton is the heir at law of Jesse Walton. The resolution was signed by Charles Hay, Clerk of the House of Delegates and agreed to by the Senate by H. Brooke
