Biographical or historical data
Stuart Herbert Poore was born 28 November 1902 to William Fenton Poore (b. 1877) and Lillian Reynolds. Poore was an engineer and chief draftsman for the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad Company and served in the United States army and held the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. In November 1935, Poore married Elizabeth Dietrich (1902-1981) daughter of Fritz Dietrich and Minnie Jacobs of Richmond, Virginia. Poore died in July 1988.
