Biographical or historical data
A naval officer, Bradley was born at Frankfort, Kentucky on Dec. 10, 1900; entered the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland in June 1923; transferred to Princeton University and received an A.B. degree, spending the next 8 years teaching at the Pomfret School in Connecticut; M.A. degree in American and English History in 1930, Cornell University; Ph. D. in Philosophy from Cornell in 1932/1933.
