Biographical or historical data
Thomas Mead was born in Loudoun County, Virginia, on 1 December 1795. He was the son of William Mead, Jr. (1736-1816) and Mary Shreve (1760-1840). His sister, Martha Mead (1803-1876) married Frederick Carper (1799-1846) of Fairfax County, Virginia on 29 January 1828. Mead died on 26 December 1847.
