Biographical or historical data
The son of Thomas Joyner (1619-1694), Bridgman Joyner became a large landowner in Isle of Wight County, Virginia, including that part which later became Southampton County, Virginia. Bridgman Joyner had five children. He died in Isle of Wight County by 4 December 1719 at which time his estate was inventoried and appraised.
