Contains the report by the Committee appointed to examine the accounts of the Treasury from 1 October 1805 to 30 September 1806. The report provides the sums received from the Revenue Tax of 1783 through 1806, the purchase of unappropriated land, inspectors of tobacco, militia fines, etc. An enclosure, labeled "A", contains an account of disbursements & discounts made at the Treasury between 1 October 1805 and 30 September 1806. Among the disbursements are expenses of the General Assembly, expenses of the District, County, & Corporation Courts, salaries to the officers of government, salaries to the officers of the militia, etc. Also included is advice of the Council, extracted from the minutes by Daniel L. Hylton, Clerk of the Council, that Mr. McRae & Mr. Aylett be appointed a committee to count the money in the Treasury. Below the advice McRae & Aylett provide the balance on hand in the Treasury. Lastly, there is an account of the Public treasury from 1 October 1805 & 30 September 1806 by William Mosely, Treasurer
