Biographical or historical data
Judith Randolph was born 24 November 1772 in Henrico County, Virginia, to Thomas Mann Randolph (1741-1794) and Anne Cary Randolph (1745-1789). She married her cousin Richard Randolph (1770-1796) and they had 2 children. Richard Randolph and Judith's sister Anne Cary "Nancy" Randolph (1774-1837) were accused of having had an affair and killing the infant born because of it. Judith's and Nancy's relationship deteriorated because of these accusations and Nancy married Gouverneur Morris (1752-1816) the eminent New York politician. Judith Randolph died 9 March 1816 in Richmond, Virginia.
