  • Includes two minute books. The first volume covers the period from December 1804 to December 1846. Persons present for church meetings are listed. Membership lists appear on pages 4-14 and 318-338 (Accession 26323)
  • The second volume of minutes covers the period from [23] January 1847 to 9 April 1870. It includes assessment lists and treasurer's reports. In April 1854 the practice of listing those absent from church conferences was begun. During the Civil War, minutes were entered irregularly. Some of the names entered are of Huguenot origin. Membership lists appear on pages i-xvi and include an alphabetical listing of members (Accession 26324)

Biographical or historical data
Organized in 1787 and known as Hatcher's Church. In 1833, the church split. The splinter group was called North Fork of Otter Church. In May 1834 the split was healed, and the church became known as Mount Hermon.
