Biographical or historical data
Captain Andrew Stevenson's (1784-1857) artillery company usually served with the 19th Virginia militia, but during part of the War of 1812 was assigned to the 2nd Virginia regiment in Brigadier-General Robert Porterfield's (1752-1843) brigade from August 1814 to February 1815. The company also saw brief service with Colonel Moses Green's (1770-1857) 2nd Corps, D'elite.
