Biographical or historical data
Lucy Judkins was born 8 January 1865 in Tuskegee, Alabama, to James H. Judkins and Lizzie Johnstone Judkins. She emigrated with her family from Alabama to Brazil, living there for three years before returning to Alabama in 1870. Lucy Judkins married John W. Durr (ca. 1864-1941) 25 November 1886 in Montgomery, Alabama, and they had children. Lucy Judkins Durr died in Jefferson County, Alabama, 11 July 1959.
