The first document, 26 March 1830, made by John Boyer of Botetourt County appoints Henry Erskine his lawful attorney; and the second document, 29 March 1830, made by Peter Boyer of Greenbrier County appoints Henry Erskine his lawful attorney. In both documents the grantor states that Erskine is appointed to recover and receive all parts of the estate of Jacob Boyer (d. ca. 1830) of Berks County, Pennsylvania.
