Biographical or historical data
John Hoomes was a prosperous planter in Caroline County, Virginia, and represented the county in the House of Delegates from 1791 to 1795. He and his wife Judith (ca. 1748-1822) had five children. Hoomes died 15 December 1805 in Caroline County.
