Biographical or historical data
John Hutcheson (d. ca. 1812) and his wife Sarah Hutcheson had seven children, including Richard Hutcheson (1792-1854). Richard Hutcheson married Mary Chiles (1796-1865) 5 January 1818, and they had four sons: Ambrose, John W. (1818-1902), Richard Waller (1825-1887), and Charles. Richard Hutcheson served in the 98th Virginia militia Regiment during the War of 1812. John W., Richard Waller, and Charles E. Hutcheson all served in Company E, 30th Virginia Infantry during the Civil War.
