Biographical or historical data
Francis H. "Frank" Wilkinson was born 29 March 1864 in Cecil County, Maryland. He lived in Alexandria (Arlington) and Fairfax Counties, Virginia, where he became a prosperous dairy farmer. Wilkinson was a director of the County Chamber of Commerce, a member of the board of directors of the Fairfax Independent Mutual Fire Insurance Company, an executive committeeman of the Mount Vernon Grange, and treasurer of the Woodlawn Horse Association. He and his wife Alice Ballinger Wilkinson had one child. Wilkinson died 1 November 1935 in Fairfax County and was buried in Woodlawn Friends' Cemetery.
