Biographical or historical data
Richard G. Morris was born circa 1795. He resided at various times in Amherst and Buckingham Counties, and Lynchburg and Richmond, Virginia. Morris married Mrs. Elizabeth R. (Yancey) Williams (1794-1877) on 7 September 1825. He died in Richmond on 13 May 1867 and is buried in Hollywood Cemetery.
