Almon Lard (1813-1864) served with the 27th Massachusetts Infantry, Company I, during the Civil War. He was captured 16 May 1864 at Drury's Bluff, Virginia, and died 15 October 1864 in Savannah, Georgia. He was married to Anna Lard.
