Biographical or historical data
Davis S. Chick of Hanover County, Virginia, married Polly Cocke, the daughter of Benjamin Cocke, Jr., (d. 1821) and Elizabeth Cocke (d. ca. 1843), also of Hanover County. After Benjamin Cocke's death, the Chicks and some of the other Cocke children sold their interest in the estate to John D. Andrews (d. ca. 1838). Chick died about 1853 in Hanover County, Virginia
