Biographical or historical data
John W. Nunnally was born about 1836 in Chesterfield County, Virginia. When the Civil War began, he joined the Chesterfield Guards, which became Company D, 14th Virginia Infantry. Nunnally was killed 1 June 1862 at the battle of Seven Pines.
