Contains a letter from Governor John Tyler, Council Chamber, to [James Barbour], Speaker of the House of Delegates, enclosing two letters from Peyton Drew, Clerk of the General Court. In his first letter, dated 4 April 1809, Drew writes on the need to build a flue for the General Court Office & Auditor's Office in the Capitol. His second letter, dated 20 November 1809, complains of smoke and dust from two stoves which were purchased for the office and remarks that the books & papers cannot be kept in good order
