  • Contains a letter from Governor John Page, Richmond, to [Peter Johnston, Jr.], Speaker of the House of Delegates, laying before the General Assembly five enclosures. Enclosure #1 is not present, but contained the Auditor's official statement of the taxes for the year 1804 including the different branches of revenue and a list of balances due from delinquent sheriffs & collectors taken to the 30th September 1805. Enclosure #2 contains a letter from Martin Mims enclosing a statement of the arms apportioned and issued under the several acts of the General Assembly concerning arming the militia (statement not included)
  • Enclosure #3 contains a letter from Martin Mims enclosing a statement of the prisoners in the Penitentiary. The statement enumerates the prisoners remaining in the Penitentiary on 1 December 1804, those received in the fall & spring term 1805, discharged during the year, & died. Enclosure #4 contains a return of arms, accoutrements, & military stores in and near the Capitol prepared by Alexander Quarrier. Enclosure #5 contains a return of the Public Guard prepared by Alexander Quarrier
