Biographical or historical data
The first Concord Presbyterian congregation, now called Old Concord, worshipped with a Methodist Protestant congregation in a school building. In 1835, about thirty members were dismissed from Concord to organize New Concord Church. They joined with the Methodist Protestants to build a union church. After about fifty years, the New Concord Presbyterians built their own church.
