Biographical or historical data
Sophia Stockett was born 10 April 1839 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, to Joseph Noble Stockett (1779-1854) and Sophia Watkins Stockett (1799-1839). She married John Henry Sellman (1837-1892) 25 June 1863, and they had five children. Sophia Stockett Sellman died in Anne Arundel County 11 September 1888, and was buried at All-Hallow's Parish.
