Summary
  • Includes two minute books. The first covers the period from 18 August 1798 to 7 February 1824. The minutes are brief. There are no membership lists (Accession 20786)
  • The second volume covers the period from 18 March 1809 to 9 October 1847. From 1809 to 1825 the church met alternately at Big Spring and Mill Creek in Shenandoah County, Virginia. In November 1824, the members at Big Spring requested letters of dismissal so that they might organize a separate church. This church was established on 7 May 1825. A list of these members appears in this volume. No further records of Big Spring appear. Membership lists appear on pages iii-viii, Received and Dismissed, 1823-1832 (Accession 20787)
