Biographical or historical data
Samuel Woods Harris was born 9 April 1793 in Albemarle County, Virginia, the son of Benjamin and Mary "Polly" Woods Harris. He married Sarah Miller Ware on 5 December 1816 and died 5 February 1852. Samuel Harris' brother James M. Harris was born 5 July 1797 in Albemarle County. He married Margaret Woods on 5 February 1824. James M. Harris died in 1872.
