S. Tomlinson, city librarian for York, England, attempting to ascertain whether a lottery to benefit the Virginia Company held in parts of England between 1614 and 1621 was ever held in York. LeRoy Spenser Fortescue Paul was born 13 July 1928. He resided in Vienna, Virginia, and worked for the United States Air Force. Paul died in Vienna 1 February 1995.
