Contains a copy of a letter from Governor J. H. Stone, Annapolis, to Governor Robert Brooke enclosing a copy of a resolution passed by the General Assembly of Maryland regarding the settlement of the western and southern limits of the state and the dividing lines between Maryland and Virginia. The resolutions name William Pinckney, William Cooke, & Philip Barton Key commissioners on the part of Maryland to settle and adjust the boundaries along with commissioners from Virginia. Included is a duplicate copy of the resolutions. The resolutions are signed by William Harwood, Clerk of the Maryland House of Delegates, and H. Warfield, Clerk of the Maryland Senate
